In winter
In winter you travel with the Kohlmaisbahn.
Our Tip: deliver your luggage to the Kohlmaistalstation. Then you can either use a paid parking lot directly at the train station or the free parking lot about 1 kilometer away at "Ederfeldweg" on the main road.
Your luggage will be taken by train to the Kohlmaismittelstation and from there we will transport it to the chalet for you at around 16:30 p.m.
On the day of departure, we will bring your luggage back to the Kohlmaismittelstation at 8:30 a.m.
Important:
- Please note that you need a valid ski pass for the lift ride with the Kohlmaisbahn to the chalet.
- Use winter-proof shoes, as the hut can only be reached from the middle station on foot or on skis.
Check-in: 13 p.m. to 16 p.m. (last opportunity to go up the mountain).
Check-out: by 9 a.m. at the latest
In summer
Our “Mountain Chalet Ederalm”, newly built in 2018, is located approx. 200 meters from the Kohlmaismittelstation and can be reached by car in summer via the Bergeralmweg.
There is storage space for your bicycles (e-bike, mountain bike) and your car at the accommodation.
Thanks to the optimal location at the Kohlmaismittelstation, you can directly enter the Bike Circus Saalbach-Hinterglemm and start the most beautiful hikes from here.
TIPP: With the included Saalbach Hinterglemm Joker Card you can use the open lifts and all other discounts, such as B. use the outdoor pool "Käpt'n Hook".
It is also very close to our restaurant, the "Ederalm". It is about 150 meters above the "Mountain Chalet Ederalm".
